This new bracelet features a piece of turquoise mined in the Hachita mountains of southern New Mexico. My friend, Andy Brown of Las Cerrillos,N.M. mined it and then cut and polished it in a "ribbon cut" style, with the vein of turquoise running across the stone. The Hachita mountains are rich with copper (blue) and iron (green), which I find to be a beautiful combination.
